Our Home -School Agreement

As part of our federation, we are committed to helping every child fulfil their potential in the core skills of reading, writing and maths, while also nurturing curiosity, creativity and confidence across all areas of learning.

At Oakengates Nursery School, we set high but achievable expectations for all children and provide a wide range of rich learning experiences. We believe children learn best through practical, hands-on activities, and we work hard to make every learning journey enjoyable, meaningful and engaging.

We value strong partnerships with parents and carers. Families are kept informed about their child’s progress and are encouraged to play an active role in supporting learning at home. Our priority is to ensure every child feels safe, happy and secure while they are with us, and our friendly, approachable team works closely with families to help each child thrive.

All new starters are asked to read and sign our Home–School Agreement, supporting our shared commitment to your child’s learning and wellbeing.
